Overview

Think & Tinker 2-flute miniature and micro end-mills feature a high axial rake plunging tip style enhanced with revisions to the cutting edges and flute profile. These changes result in bits with improved cutting properties in a wider range of materials. Our tools are routinely used to shape and engrave metals, plastics, all types of woods and a wide variety of composites.

Manufactured in the USA, every tool is:

  • 100% measured / optically inspected to insure that EVERY tool meets, or exceeds, our published specifications
  • available with depth rings precisely positioned to ±0.004 in. (0.10mm), virtually eliminating the need for resetting Z-axis zero in many applications)
  • made from premium grade submicrograin tungsten carbide (HRa: 93, TRS: 4.0GPa )

NOTE: When cutting dense, brittle materials, the TIR measured at 0.8in. (20mm) from the face of your 1/8in. collet MUST be less than 0.0007in.  (0.018mm).
